Recently on CBC's Edmonton AM radio program host Mark Connolly spoke to Dr. Kathryn Dong, Director of Inner City Health and Wellness Program at the Royal Alexandra Hospital who was able to share the approach of a program that was supported solely by donors to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation throughout its first three years of operation. This same program is now addressing the needs of the ever-increasing, extremely high-risk population of opioid users.
