On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Edmonton’s river valley was alive with runners, walkers, families, and friends—gathered at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park to support women’s mental health.

Now in its 13th year, the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women brought heart, determination, and community spirit to Edmonton once again.

Thanks to the generosity of participants, donors, and sponsors, more than $300,000 was raised in support of mental health care at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. This incredible support helps fund life-changing programs both locally and beyond.

Watch our recap of the 2025 Run for Women that raised $300,000+ for women's mental health at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.

We’re deeply grateful to Shoppers Drug Mart and its dedicated staff for their leadership and continued commitment to women’s wellness. Leading up to race day, they hosted a series of vibrant fundraising events—including a community pickleball tournament, paint night, and a mini-gala called She’s Blooming—each one helping to build excitement and bring our city together.

Funds raised will continue to support vital work at the Lois Hole Hospital, Alberta’s only dedicated women’s hospital and a national centre of excellence in women’s health. Every dollar goes toward initiatives that support women’s mental health across all life stages.

Your generosity supports programs like the HOPE Digital Mental Health Platform, which has already helped thousands of women experiencing perinatal anxiety and depression, and the Antepartum Recreational Program, which provides comfort and connection to women facing high-risk pregnancies.

Women are the glue that holds communities together. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or cheered us on—you made this day, and this impact, possible.
