On Tuesday, June 24th, author and historian Carolina Jakeway Roemmich sat down with CBC Radio Active's Jessica Ng to talk about what went into writing "The Alex: The 125-Year History of the Royal Alexandra Hospital."
They discussed some of the recurring themes and motifs in the Royal Alex's history such as the growth and influence of the nursing profession, the significance of the Royal Alex's location in the downtown Edmonton, the importance of the community supporting the hospital, and more.
