Speaking of Health

"Speaking of Health: Advancing Obstetrical Care for Women Across Alberta"

Thursday, June 8th, 2023

7:00 - 8:30 PM

Our upcoming lecture, “Speaking of Health: Advancing Obstetrical Care for Women Across Alberta" will provide an in-depth discussion on the advancements in obstetrical care across our province and beyond. In particular, guests will learn about the OBIX Fetal Monitoring system, a new technology that is changing the way labour and delivery units provide obstetrical care to expecting and new mothers across the province, improving the quality-of-care women receive in major ways.

We will hear from Lois Hole Hospital for Women Unit Manager of Labour & Delivery, Sharla Gardiner, and a past OBIX patient and Labour & Delivery Registered Nurse, Kasia Luszczek, who will share her personal journey of benefiting from OBIX during her own labour.
