Foundation Director Paul Lanni Named One of Avenue Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40.

Our most sincere congratulations to Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation Board Director Paul Lanni, CEO and President of Averton Homes, for being named one of Avenue Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40.

Originally from Toronto and a relative new-comer in the Alberta housing market, Averton quickly established itself as a major name in home building across Western Canada.

“We pay attention to the details with every project,” says Paul. “Whether it’s a townhouse or a multi-million dollar estate home we want to ensure the very best quality.”

Paul joined our board in June of 2017, however, he was involved with the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation long before that.

The loss of his mother, Stephanie Lanni, to breast cancer more than 15 years ago, had a profound impact on all her children. Her life, however, is what continues to inspire Paul and his family today, resulting in support for charitable several causes. It was his mother’s commitment to support her community and to advocate for women’s health that has led to Averton’s ongoing support for the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.

"Even as she dealt with her illness our mom was an advocate for women’s health and she worked hard to spread awareness and educate other women in our community about the importance of early screening and prevention,” says Paul. “Our mom led by example and she showed us that we can make a difference and we hope to teach our own kids this same principle. It is her spirit of generosity, caring for others and a commitment to your community that inspires us every day.”

Averton was pleased to join the ranks of Full House Lottery builders in 2016, the lottery that benefits the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation and University Hospital Foundation. For 2018 Averton has been chosen to build the grand prize home; a home that is taking the Full House Lottery to new heights, literally, with the first ever third-floor games room and patio. Stay tuned for the grand opening announcement for Full House Lottery 2018 to see for yourself!
