Speaking of Health - Weight Loss - Current Trends

Weight loss is surrounded by miracle cures and trending diets. Hear from Dr. Leah Gramlich as she explains the goals of weight loss therapy, discusses strategies for weight loss and explores current dieting trends, including the most recently popular Keto or low carb, high-fat diet.

This event is free but registration is required.

Speaking of Health is a free public lecture series presented by the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation. This event takes place in the Robbins Learning Centre located in the basement of the Robbins Pavilion at 10245 111 Avenue.

Seating is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a lecture you wish to attend is full at the time we receive your registration, you will be notified. Otherwise, please consider your registration confirmed.

Free public parking is available, but space is limited, and parking will be a challenge. Please use the lot in front of the Community Services Centre on the north side of the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus at 111 Ave and 104 Street. Speaking of Health attendees do not have to pay for parking at the Royal Alex between 6-9PM on the nights of the lectures.
