Speaking of Health - Technology & Innovation In Surgery

The Royal Alexandra Hospital is one of the busiest surgical services in Alberta. In 2017/18 we completed 35,800 surgeries in our 29 operating rooms. With technology & innovation, we can improve these patients surgical journey and outcome. Join Mary Lou McKenzie & Terrell Thorpe as they share what the future holds for surgery at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

Speaking of Health is a free public lecture series presented by the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation. This event takes place in the Robbins Learning Centre located in the basement of the Robbins Pavilion at 10245 111 Avenue.

Seating is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a lecture you wish to attend is full at the time we receive your registration, you will be notified. Otherwise, please consider your registration confirmed.

Free public parking is available, but space is limited, and parking will be a challenge. Please use the lot in front of the Community Services Centre on the north side of the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus at 111 Ave and 104 Street. Speaking of Health attendees do not have to pay for parking at the Royal Alex between 6-9PM on the nights of the lectures.
